The Ultimate Block-Building Kit, A 3D Modelling Project

Design Brief

We were tasked to 3D model and render our favourite childhood toy using an industry-standard CAD software. The rendered output needs to be formatted into a promotional poster.

Design Objectives

In response to the profound influence of collaborative Lego building experiences from my childhood, my design objectives center on creating an ultimate block kit that advances learning and social development among children. The primary goal is to produce a visually engaging kit that not only captivates but also facilitates educational exploration, particularly in the realms of colour comprehension and alphabet recognition. Additionally, the design aims to instill vital social skills, including the principles of turn-taking, resource-sharing, and the cultivation of interpersonal relationships.

By nurturing self-reliance and cultivating attention spans, the kit aims to empower children to navigate challenges independently and engage more deeply with their surroundings. Furthermore, the project seeks to foster a spirit of cooperation and collaboration, promoting a supportive environment where children can develop essential teamwork skills. With an unwavering commitment to nurturing boundless creativity, the design aims to provide a platform where children can unleash their imagination without constraint, fostering a sense of limitless possibility and endless exploration.
