Attracting Top Talent, Redefining Kami's Employee Recruitment Strategy

Kami is an online document annotation and markup tool. Founded in 2013 by Auckland University students Hengjie Wang, Jordan Thoms, and Alliv Samson, the company is dedicated to create a system that makes note-taking easier for all. The service is now used in more than 180 countries and by more than 30 million teachers and students, with its largest user-base in North America.

Kami needs exposure, to assist in promoting the company culture and/or the benefits of Kami that would attract more software engineers. Kami needs this so that it can grow and evolve to become more commonly implemented in online and digital learning, which adds great value to how modern learning takes place, especially given our current climate, which is forcing the majority of the world, where they can, to work at home and often in isolation.

We as designers can intervene, and help create an innovative process to help achieve Kami's goals. To do so, research about Kami and understanding what they have to offer that we can turn around and show the world, is crucial for boosting this company's name for future employees.
